Overview
OnRepeat is an iOS app for practicing German with curated short clips, transcripts, translations, shadowing, and quizzes. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the app.
Information we collect
OnRepeat does not require an account and does not ask you to provide a name, email address, phone number, or payment information inside the app.
The app stores learning progress on your device, including viewed clips, clips marked On Repeat, completed clips, repeat counts, and shadowing counts. This information is used to show your library and progress.
App analytics
OnRepeat collects limited app usage information to understand how people use the app and to improve lessons, features, and reliability. This may include app opens, screen views, lesson and quiz interactions, video or phrase activity, session information, device or app identifiers, and basic device and app information.
We use analytics service providers to process this information on our behalf. We do not sell this information or use it for third-party advertising tracking.
Network requests
OnRepeat connects to the OnRepeat service to load the curated lesson collection, transcripts, translations, quiz content, and clip metadata. Standard server logs may include technical information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, and user agent for security, debugging, and reliability.
Video playback is provided through YouTube. When you play a video, YouTube may receive information under Google's and YouTube's own privacy practices.
How information is used
We use app and server information to provide lessons, remember local progress, maintain the service, troubleshoot problems, and keep the app reliable. We do not sell personal information.
Data sharing
We may use service providers needed to operate OnRepeat, including hosting and video playback providers. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.
Children
OnRepeat is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support contact, please contact us so we can delete it.
